![]() ![]() Among the earliest was Follows’ Camp, situated along the East Fork of the San Gabriel River and operated for over thirty years by Ralph Morton Follows (1866-1925.) Tonight’s featured objects from the museum’s collection are a group of great early real photo postcards, including a couple by the well-known mountain shutterbug Ernest B. As has been noted in several posts on this blog, there were many resorts and camps in the San Gabriel Mountains during the Great Hiking Era spanning from the 1890s to the 1930s.
